Vivo V17 debuted as the third smartphone in the 'V' series earlier this month in India. The company has given the device a subtle makeover compared to its international variant. The Indian model ships with a punch-hole display and offers an L-shaped camera setup at the rear instead of the waterdrop notch and the square-shaped camera module on the global model.

The device is launched in a single 8GB RAM configuration and has been made available for pre-orders on the launch day itself. Its first sale is slated to go live on December 17 via both online and offline stores.

Mahesh Telecom ( a Mumbai based retailer), has announced that Vivo V17 buyers will get a chance to win another unit for free. And the offer is likely for the consumers in Mumbai. The buy one get one free offer dubbed as "Spin and Win" will be live from December 17 till December 22 in India. Besides a free Vivo V17 unit, buyers will also be able to win a Vivo V91.

Also, the retailer is offering a cashback of 5 percent on the purchases made via HDFC, ICICI, and Axis Bank cards. One can also win vouchers from Book My Show and Big Bazaar, etc. Notably, the handset is launched with a price tag of Rs. 22,999 in Glacier Blue and Midnight Ocean Color options.

Vivo V17 Key Specifications

The Vivo V17 is launched with an E3 AMOLED display measuring 6.44-inches. The display offers an FHD_ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a tiny punch-hole.

At the rear, the quad-camera module accommodates a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP lens for depth mapping. The punch-hole packs a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calling with an f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor aided by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Rounding off the specification sheet is a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
