Vivo V17 Pro debuted as the first dual-lens pop-up selfie camera smartphone a few months ago in India. The mid-range offering came as a successor to the Vivo V15 Pro which also offered a motorized selfie camera setup. It has been only a few months since the device went official, however, it seems that the company might pull the plugs off and launch a new model.

Vivo V17 To Be Officially Announced In November

Vivo is said to be working on the V17 smartphone which will be replacing the V17 Pro. A report from 91Mobiles reveals the company's plan to introduce the V17 in the Indian market. The publication got this information from a company executive who suggested availability in the first week of December.

The report also suggests a Rs. 25,000 price tag which is less than Rs. 29,990 price of the Vivo V17 Pro. While the report doesn't reveal any specifications, the lower price tag indicates a toned-down variant in the making.

It is expected that the device will ship with a similar dual-lens pop-up selfie camera setup. At the rear, we might see at least four camera sensors. It would be hard to say just yet which processor will power the upcoming mid-range smartphone and if it will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations.

Moreover, it would be interesting to see what all changes will Vivo make to its upcoming device, to grab a bigger chunk of the audience.

Vivo V17 Pro Quick Specifications
