Vivo has launched its new V17 mid-range smartphone in Russia. The handset is the third model in the V17 series and has been splashing up via leaks for quite some time. Vivo has launched the device as a rebranded S1 Pro which was also launched recently. Following are the details:

Vivo V17 Price And Availability

The Vivo V17 is launched at RUB 22,900 in Russia that roughly translates to Rs. 25,743 in Indian currency. It has gone up for pre-orders in Russia till December 5 and will be available in Blue Fog and Cloudy Blue color options.

Currently, there is no word of Vivo launches this handset in India. As some reports suggest the arrival of Vivo S1 Pro in India sometime soon; it remains if the company launches the V17 or the S1 Pro in the country.

Vivo V17 Specifications And Features

The Vivo V17 adorns an AMOLED panel measuring 6.38-inches with 1080 x 2340 pixels FHD+ resolution. The display incorporates a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera

It offers a diamond-shaped quad-rear camera setup housing a 48MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor. The primary lens is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

There is a 32MP camera with an f/2.0 packed inside the waterdrop notch for selfies and video calling. The handset makes use of a mid-range Snapdragon 665 processor which we have seen on the Oppo A9 2020 as well.

It is launched in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and supports up to 25GB micro SD card. It runs on Android Pie OS which is topped with FunTouch OS 9.2 skin. It has a USB Type-C port that is used to charge the 4,500 mAh battery. Notably, the battery comes with fast charging support.
