Vivo V29 5G, Vivo V29 Pro 5G launch in India set for end of September: Report

Vivo is gearing up to launch two new mid-range smartphones in India soon. The new devices are expected to join the company's V series in India - Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G.

In a recent report, 91mobiles revealed a launch timeline for the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G in India. To recall, the company unveiled the more-affordable Vivo V29e 5G last month.

Vivo V29 Series Launch Timeline India

According to the report, the Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G launch date in India will take place towards the end of September. 91mobiles also cited industry sources claiming that the upcoming Vivo V29 series smartphones would feature India-specific features.

Moreover, at least one of the two devices will come in a "Majestic Red" colour inspired by India. Additionally, the report also noted that the Vivo V29 Pro 5G would be an Indian exclusive product and won't make its way to global markets.

It is also worth noting that the Vivo V29 5G made its debut in the global market back in August. Vivo has yet to confirm details about the Vivo V29 series launch in India. However, if Vivo follow the same pattern as the Vivo V27 series, the Vivo V29 series will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S17 series, which was unveiled in China earlier this year.
