Vivo V29 Pro Key Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch

Vivo launched the Vivo V27 Pro a couple of months ago, and the brand is now gearing up to unveil its successor, the Vivo V29 Pro. Vivo Philippines has teased the smartphone on its website, revealing the main specs of the upcoming V29 Pro.

While the website states that the Vivo V29 Pro is "coming soon," it has not mentioned a concrete launch date. Reports indicate that the smartphone will debut globally in June, followed by an India launch.

Vivo V29 Pro Features

According to the poster shared by Vivo, the V29 Pro will have a similar rear camera setup as its predecessor, the Vivo V27 Pro. There's a vertical triple camera array at the left hand side and a ring light at the top.

Moving on to the display, the V29 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz. For security, the smartphone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric scanning.

When it comes to imaging, the V29 Pro will feature a triple camera setup at the rear. It will include a 64MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. At the front will be a 50MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The V29 Pro will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The smartphone will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While the brand hasn't disclosed the processor details, reports suggest that the device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8000 SoC.

As for the operating system, the Vivo V29 Pro will likely run Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box. It is rumored that the smartphone may launch as a rebranded version of the Vivo S17 Pro which is set to launch in China.

The Vivo V29 Pro appears to get small upgrades over its predecessor, such as a slightly bigger battery and an improved main camera. Meanwhile, it retains other features like the display and the overall design of the V27 Pro.
