Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro Launched in India from Rs 32,999: Check Pricing, Specs, Offers

Vivo has officially unveiled its premium mid-range V29 series in India. The line-up includes the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro as well as the previously launched Vivo V29e.

However, our focus is on the more recent Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro. While the two smartphones share a similar design and build, they feature different chipsets and rear camera systems.

Vivo V29 Series Pricing, Colors in India

The Vivo V29 price in India starts from Rs 32,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant. Moreover, the 12GB/256GB model of the V29 will set you back Rs 36,999. The Vivo V29 is offered in Space Black, Himalayan Blue, and Majestic Red color options.

The Vivo V29 Pro price in India starts from Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB/256GB variant. Moreover, the 12GB/256GB model of the V29 will set you back Rs 42,999. The Vivo V29 is offered in Space Black and Himalayan Blue shades.

Vivo V29 Series Offers in India

Customers can get an instant discount on the purchase of the Vivo V29 or Vivo V29 Pro using an HDFC Bank or ICICI credit or debit card (Applicable on Full Amount or EMI Transaction) from Vivo's E-store from October 4 to October 31, 2023.

Additionally, Flipkart is offering a discount of up to Rs 3,000 on the Vivo V29 series using HDFC and SBI credit or debit cards. The offers also apply on EMI transactions. The Vivo V29 series will be available for pre-order in India from today.

The Vivo V29 Pro will go on sale in India from October 10, while the vanilla V29 will be availalbe for purchase from October 17. The Vivo V29 series will be available through Vivo's E-store, Flipkart, offline Vivo stores, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales and Bajaj Electronics, among others retailers.

Vivo V29 Pro Specifications

The Vivo V29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone also has a 35,227 mm2 VC cooling area for heat dissipation and smooth performance. The Vivo V29 Pro packs a 4,600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

The Vivo V29 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, pixel density of 452 PPI, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The panel boasts HDR10+ support, and DCI-P3 grade colour coverage. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, an 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and up to 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

For optics, the V29 Pro gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX766primary sensor with OIS. The main camera is accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 12 MP portrait shooter with an f/1.98 aperture. Up front, the Vivo V29 Pro opts for a 50 MP selfie camera with Autofocus.

Vivo is placing a major emphasis on portrait photography with the Vivo V29 Pro. The Vivo V29 Pro runs Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 out of the box. The Vivo V29 series also features India's first 3D Particle Technology on the back panel. The phone also has a in-display fingerprint reader. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NavIC, and more.

Vivo V29 Specifications

The vanilla Vivo V29 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. The vanilla Vivo V29 features the same design, build, and display as the Vivo V29 Pro.

However, the V29 arrives in an additional Majestic Red shade, which features a unique color changing glass back panel. Connectivity options, software, and the selfie camera on the Vivo V29 are also the same as that on the Vivo V29 Pro.

For optics, the Vivo V29 also gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor that supports OIS. The main camera is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP bokeh sensor. It is worth noting that the vanilla V29 doesn't use the same 50 MP Sony sensor as its 'Pro' counterpart.
