Vivo V29e Launched In India: Check Specs, Features, Price, And Availability Of Midrange Android Smartphone

Vivo has launched the Vivo V29e Android smartphone in India without any launch event. The midrange mobile phone is 5G enabled but features an older Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

The Vivo V29e is a "Made in India Design Masterpiece" with eye-catching colors, a textured back panel, a large AMOLED screen, and a big battery. Let's take a look at the price, specifications, features, and availability of the latest mid-range Android smartphone from Vivo.

Vivo V29e Launch Price, Offers, And Availability In India

Vivo has launched the Vivo V29e in India. The smartphone will be available in Arctic Red and Arctic Blue colors. It has a dual-textured back panel which offers a glossy and matte finish.

The Vivo V29e is now available for pre-order on Flipkart. The Vivo smartphone's open sale is scheduled to begin on September 7 via Flipkart and Vivo India e-store. As Vivo has a vast network in India, the Vivo V29e will also be available in physical retail outlets starting next week.

The Vivo V29e is available in two iterations but both have 8GB RAM. The 8GB + 128GB variant of the Vivo V29e is available for ₹26,999. The 8GB + 256GB variant of the Vivo smartphone is available for ₹28,999.

As part of the inaugural launch offer, buyers can get ₹2,500 knocked off the retail price if they make their purchase using HDFC or SBI Bank Credit and Debit cards. Vivo and Flipkart could also offer an exchange bonus when the smartphone will be available during open sales.

Vivo V29e 5G Specifications, Features

The Vivo V29e features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout at the center. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits.

Vivo has embedded an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC inside the Vivo V29e, which is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU. Needless to say, the chipset is quite old but reliably supports 5G networks in India.

The Vivo V29e has a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 64MP f/1.7 primary camera that has OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. The primary camera is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an LED flash.

The highlight of the Vivo V29e is its 50MP f/2.45 front-facing camera. The selfie camera on the Vivo V29e has autofocus for sharper selfies and portraits.

The Vivo V29e will have "Wedding Portrait" imaging software. The feature essentially processes photos and adds a "mix of warm, pastel shades as well as a blend of gold and pink tones."

The Vivo V29e 5G runs Android 13 out of the box with FuntouchOS 13 skin on top. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging.

Some of the notable connectivity features of the Vivo smartphone include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, dual 4G VoLTE, 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The V29e seems to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Vivo V29e measures 164.42×74.92 ×7.57mm and weighs 180.5 grams, which is quite light for a modern smartphone with a hefty 5000mAh battery.
