Vivo V30 Sees ₹2,000 Price Cut Ahead of V40 Series Launch
Vivo has announced a price reduction for its V30 smartphone in India, effective August 1, 2024. The adjustment comes as the company prepares to unveil its new V40 series next week. The price cut applies to all variants of the Vivo V30, making it more accessible just before the release of the latest model.
New Pricing for Vivo V30
The Vivo V30 (review), initially launched in March 2024 alongside the V30 Pro, now starts at ₹31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹33,999, while the 12GB + 256GB option is available for ₹35,999. This marks a ₹2,000 reduction across all variants from their original prices.

Special Offers and Financing Options
In addition to the new pricing, Vivo is offering flat 10% instant cashback with select partners and additional benefits like the Vivo V-Shield Protection Plan. Customers can also take advantage of an 8-month no-cost EMI option for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The revised prices are available on Flipkart, the Vivo India website, and through various retail partners.

The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, which ensures a quick power-up. The Vivo V30 is also rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, enhancing its durability. The phone supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, and has a USB Type-C port for charging and audio.
Upcoming V40 Series
With the Vivo V40 series set to launch on August 7, 2024, this price reduction on the V30 might be a strategy to clear inventory and attract buyers before the new models arrive.
