Vivo V30e Launch in India Teased 50 MP Sony IMX882 Camera, 5,500 mAh Battery Confirmed

Vivo is gearing up to unveil a third smartphone in the V30 series in India. The Vivo V30e was recently teased by the company and follow the launch of the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro.

While Vivo has not provided an official date for the Vivo V30e's launch in India, the company has teased a few aspects of the upcoming handset. Apart from the specs, we also have an in-depth look at the Vivo V30e's design.

Vivo V30e: What we know so far!

The Vivo V30e features a gem cut design and will opt for a 3D curved AMOLED display upfront. The Vivo V30e will come in Velvet Red and Silk Blue color options. The official poster also reveals a circular camera island on the back, unlike the rectangular island on the Vivo V30 (Review).

The module houses two camera sensors and a round Aura Light LED flash. Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming V30e will use a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary camera sensor. The camera system will feature a Professional Portrait mode and support Smart Color Temperature Adjustment and HD Portrait algorithms.

No information about the secondary sensor is available but the handset will also feature a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus. Vivo has also confirmed that the V30e will pack a 5,500 mAh battery. It will also offer four years of fluid performance, which is double the lifespan compared to the current industry standard.

Vivo V30e Specifications (Expected)

According to recent reports, the Vivo V30e will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. The handset will run Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box. It is also expected to support 44W wired fast charging.

The Vivo V30e's curved AMOLED display could sport a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo V30e is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
