The Vivo V40 Pro is set to go on sale in India for the first time today via Vivo's e-store and Flipkart. The sale will commence at 02:00 pm IST. The Vivo V40 Pro price in India starts from Rs 49,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/512GB configuration cost Rs 55,999.
Customers who purchase the Vivo V40 Pro using ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank cards will get an instant 10% discount from the Vivo e-store. At the time of writing, Flipkart appears to be offering a discount of Rs 5,000 on the purchase of the Vivo V40 Pro using cards from all major banks, although this discount if limited to the 8GB/256GB variant.
Vivo V40 Pro Specifications
The Vivo V40 Pro gets a massive performance boost with the incorporation of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. The phone also comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Vivo V40 Pro also packs a massive 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

The Vivo V40 Pro also sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D Curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Moreover, the panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The phone also runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out of the box. The cameras on the Vivo V40 Pro are co-developed with ZEISS.
For optics, the Vivo V40 Pro will feature a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS. The main camera will be paired with a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto-portrait shooter. Up front, the Vivo V40 Pro will use a 50MP "ZEISS Group Selfie Camera" with AF.
The Vivo V40 Pro features a glass back and Schott α glass protection on the front with a metal frame. The phone also features an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water. It is equipped with dual-stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V40 Pro is offered in Titanium Grey and Ganges Blue shades.
