The Vivo V40e price in India starts at Rs 28,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 30,999. The smartphone comes in Royal Bronze and Mint Green shades.

The Vivo V40e can be purchased via Flipkart, Vivo's e-store, Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital, and other mainline retail channels across the country. The Vivo V40e (first impressions) has a 6.77-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) 3D curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

There is a dual rear camera setup for imaging, including a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support and an 8MP ultra-wide camera paired with an Aura Light. The Vivo V40e opts for a 50MP selfie camera at the front. Both front and rear cameras also support 4K video recording.

Moreover, the device packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. The Vivo V40e also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Lastly, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
