Vivo V50 Launched in India with 6000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, IP69 Rating, and New Starry Night Color
Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo V50 in India, bringing a fresh update to its premium mid-range smartphone lineup. The device builds on the success of the Vivo V40, offering a larger battery, improved charging speeds, and enhanced durability.
It also introduces an India-exclusive Starry Night color, designed with a reflective pattern for a unique aesthetic.

What's New in the Vivo V50?
At first glance, the Vivo V50 looks similar to the Vivo V40, but there are a few significant upgrades. The biggest change is the 6000mAh battery, which Vivo claims is the slimmest battery of this size in its segment. With 90W fast charging, users can get back to full power much faster than before.
Another notable improvement is the IP68 and IP69 rating, making the V50 more resistant to dust and water exposure compared to its predecessor.
In terms of performance, Vivo has kept things familiar. The V50 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the same chipset found in the Vivo V40. It retains the 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a 50MP ultra-wide sensor on the back.
For selfies, Vivo has equipped the device with a 50MP wide-angle front camera, ideal for group shots or capturing more background in a single frame.
The display remains a 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smooth viewing experience. On the software front, the V50 ships with Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, and Vivo has committed to three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
Pricing and Availability
Vivo has priced the V50 competitively, starting at Rs 34,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. If you need more storage, the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for Rs 36,999, while the top-end 12GB + 512GB version is priced at Rs 40,999.

The phone will be available for purchase starting February 25 through Amazon, Flipkart, and Vivo India's official website, with pre-bookings now open. It comes in three color options-Rose Red, Titanium Grey, and Starry Night.
