Vivo V50e with 50MP Front and Rear Cameras, IP69 Rating, Quad-Curved OLED Display Teased in India

Vivo has officially teased the launch of the V50e in India. As of now, no official release date for the Vivo V50e has been confirmed, although the brand has confirmed some key specifications and the design of the device.

The Vivo V50e is the second smartphone in Vivo's V series to debut in India this month, the first being the Vivo V50. However, there is no information about the Vivo V50 Pro's launch yet.

Vivo V50e Launch, Price in India

We expect the Vivo V50e launch in India to take place sometime in the second week of April. Following the launch, the Vivo V50e will go on sale in India through Amazon as an official page for the device has already been set up on the e-commerce platform.

While there is no official confirmation, we believe, the Vivo V50e price in India will start from under Rs 30,000. To recall, the Vivo V40e price in India starts from Rs 26,999.

Vivo V50e Specifications

The official Amazon page reveals the Vivo V50e will feature a similar design as the Vivo V50 with a quad-curved OLED display. The phone will feature a dual-tone purple and white finish, titled Saphire Blue, with the camera island housing the two lenses and Vivo's circular Aura Light.

For optics, the Vivo V50e is teased to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 116-degree FOV. Up front, the Vivo V50e will opt for a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. The Vivo V50e's boasts several dedicated portrait modes, while both the front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording.

Despite the phone's ultra-slim 7.3mm thick form factor, the Vivo V50e has gone through rigorous testing to ensure its durability. It is protected by Diamond Shield Glass on the front and is SGS Five-Star Overall Unit Drop Resistance certified. It also features an IP68+IP69 rating for resistance to dust and water and comes with an underwater photography mode.

The Vivo V50e is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It could pack a 5,600 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. The phone is also expected to sport a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo V50e will run Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box with Smart AI feature that include AI transcript assist, vivo live call translation and circle to search.
