Vivo is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in its mid-range V series soon. The Vivo V60 has long been rumored to arrive in August, although no official details were revealed, until now.

The Vivo V60 has officially been teased on the company's official X India handle. While no official launch date has been provided, Vivo has mentioned that the device would be 'coming soon'. Vivo has also set up a dedicated page for the V60 on its website, which reveals key details about the phone.

We expect the Vivo V60 launch in India to take place in August. The Vivo V60 price in India will likely start from under Rs 40,000, a substantial jump over the Vivo V50. However, the Vivo V60 is also likely to get a substantial upgrade over predecessor.

The Vivo V60 is confirmed to feature a triple-camera setup on the back, which will include a main, ultrawide, and telephoto shooters. Additionally, the telephoto lens will offer up to 100x zoom. Vivo has also confirmed that the V60's cameras will be co-developed with ZEISS.

The Vivo V60 will also sport a Quad-Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo's dedicated launch page also confirms that V60 will pack a 6,500 mAh battery, the slimmest phone with a cell that size. Finally, the Vivo V60 is confirmed to arrive in Moonlit Blue, Auspicious Gold, and Mist Gray shades.

The Vivo V60 will likely debut as a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which was unveiled in China back in May. The Vivo V60 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. It will come with 90W wired fast charging support. The Vivo V60 could also sport a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support.

Moreover, the handset's triple-camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP telephoto shooter, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, it is anticipated to have a 50-megapixel selfie camera. The device is tipped to have IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
