Vivo is gearing up to unveil a new premium mid-range smartphone in its V series in India today. The Vivo V60 succeeds the Vivo V50, which was unveiled in India earlier this year and is a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which arrived in China in May.

The Vivo V60 launch in India is taking place at 12 noon (IST) today. Following its launch, the Vivo V60 will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart. The Vivo V60 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It operates on Funtouch OS 15, which is based on Android 15. This choice of operating system might disappoint some users as Android 16 has already been released. Nevertheless, the phone promises a robust performance with its mid-range chipset.

The Vivo V60 boasts an "equal-depth quad-curved display," offering curves on all four sides for a sleek appearance. This design approach has been seen in previous models of the V series. The device also features a substantial 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery that supports 90W flash charging, ensuring long-lasting usage and quick recharging.

Vivo continues to focus on camera capabilities with this model. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens (IMX882) also equipped with OIS and offering 10x zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there is a powerful 50MP front camera.

In India, the Vivo V60 will be available in three colours: Auspicious Gold, Mist Gray, and Moonlit Blue. Globally, additional colour options such as Berry Purple, Desert Gold, Ocean Blue, and Summer Blue are expected. However, Vivo often reserves certain colours for specific regions.
