Vivo V60 Launch Date in India Set for August 12: Check Specifications and Expected Pricing

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo V60. The device will be unveiled on August 12, with several specifications and features already teased on the brand’s global website.

The V60 appears to be positioned as an upper mid-range device, following the Vivo V50, which launched in India earlier at ₹34,999.

Camera Setup Revealed

The Vivo V60 will feature a vertically aligned, pill-shaped rear camera module. According to the official teaser, the setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a separate 8MP ultrawide sensor. The front will house a 50MP selfie camera, placed centrally within the display.

Battery, Display, and Performance

One of the highlights of the V60 is its 6,500mAh battery, paired with 90W fast charging. The phone will feature a quad-curved display, with further details on screen size and resolution yet to be disclosed. It will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and ship with Funtouch OS 15 out of the box.

The device will also come with an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Vivo has confirmed that the phone will be offered in three color options for India: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey.

Vivo V60 Expected Price in India

According to industry sources, the Vivo V60’s base variant is expected to be priced between ₹37,000 and ₹40,000 in India. This would place it slightly above the launch price of the Vivo V50, which started at ₹34,999.

The final pricing will be revealed during the official announcement on August 12.
