Vivo V80 Lite 5G with 10,000mAh Battery, 1.5K OLED Display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, Launched Globally

Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Malaysia, introducing a new V-series smartphone focused heavily on battery endurance, cameras and everyday performance. Interestingly, this Malaysian model is different from the Vivo V80 Lite launched in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The highlight is its massive 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery, making it one of the biggest battery smartphones from Vivo. The device also features a 1.5K OLED display, a Sony camera sensor and Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G Specifications

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 449ppi pixel density and up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness. The panel supports HDR10+, P3 wide colour gamut and 1.07 billion colours.

Despite its large battery, the phone measures 8.59mm in thickness and weighs 224 grams.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C and NFC.

10,000mAh Battery Is the Main Highlight

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G packs a 10,000mAh BlueVolt battery using fourth-generation silicon-anode technology. It supports 44W charging and reverse charging.

Vivo claims the battery can retain at least 80% capacity after 1,400 full charge cycles, equivalent to around seven years based on its simulated usage conditions. The company also says the phone can deliver up to 68 hours of calls, 30 hours of video playback and 14 hours of Mobile Legends gaming.

The device reportedly achieved a Guinness World Records title for the Longest Electronic Product Testing Livestream, lasting 32 hours and 37 minutes. The record was verified in Thailand on August 11, 2026.

For thermal management, the phone gets a 3,800mm² vapour chamber, while Vivo claims stable power delivery at temperatures up to 45°C.

50MP Sony Camera and Android 16

For photography, the Vivo V80 Lite 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP bokeh sensor. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera with a 90-degree field of view.

Camera features include AI Erase and Check-In Watermark. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6, offering Origin Island, Drag & Go, Office Kit, Google Gemini and AI Captions.

The handset also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings and has passed five MIL-STD environmental tests.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G Variants and Availability

The Vivo V80 Lite 5G is available in 6GB+128GB, 6GB+256GB and 8GB+256GB configurations. Colour options include Emerald Green, Afterglow Pink and Dawn Black.

Vivo has listed the smartphone on its Malaysian website, while pricing is being updated separately. Its availability in other markets, including India, has not been confirmed yet. There is also speculation that the Malaysian model could launch in some regions under the Vivo S2 FE name.
