Vivo V80 Price in India Revealed Ahead of Next Week's Launch: Check Expected Specifications & Features

The Vivo V80 is expected to launch in India soon as the successor to the Vivo V70. Ahead of its anticipated debut, the company has revealed key details about the upcoming smartphone, including its display, cameras and battery.

A tipster has now shared the phone's expected India pricing and storage configurations, suggesting it could arrive at a considerably higher price than its predecessor.

Vivo V80 Price in India (Expected)

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, the Vivo V80 price in India could start at Rs. 63,000 in India. The handset is tipped to be offered in three configurations, with the top-end model expected to cost Rs. 80,000.

The leaked prices are as follows:

• 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 63,000
• 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 70,000
• 8GB RAM + 512GB storage: Rs. 80,000

The second configuration in the leak is also listed as 8GB + 128GB, so its storage details remain unclear.

For comparison, the Vivo V70 launched in India at Rs. 45,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. Following price hikes, these configurations are currently listed at Rs. 59,999 and Rs. 64,999, respectively. The V80's leaked pricing would place it above the V70's launch prices.

Vivo V80 India Launch Details

Vivo has not yet announced an official India launch date for the V80. The smartphone is expected to debut in the country soon, with the company already confirming several of its key features ahead of launch.

Vivo V80 Specifications and Features

The Vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, support for 1.07 billion colours and a local peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

For imaging, it will get a Zeiss-branded rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Night Telephoto camera and a Zeiss wide-angle shooter. On the front, the phone will feature a 50-megapixel Group Selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view and autofocus.

The handset will pack a 7,200mAh battery, which Vivo says is the largest on a V-Series phone so far. It is rated for up to 14 hours of continuous navigation and up to 39.5 hours of local video playback, and supports 90W FlashCharge. The V80 will also be the first V-Series smartphone to ship with Android 17-based OriginOS 7.
