Vivo V9 launched at Rs. 22,990 with 24MP selfie camera and 4GB RAM

Vivo V9 was unveiled in a few markets yesterday and is all set to be launched in India today. Today, the Vivo V9 has been launched in India at a price point of Rs. 22,990. The smartphone will be available via Amazon India for pre-order from today and the sale will debut on April 2.

The Vivo V9 has several highlights such as a display notch as in the iPhone X, a 24MP selfie camera as on the Vivo V7+, AI Face Access feature, which can be used to unlock the smartphone and apps, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC and more.

Vivo V9 arrives with a 6.3-inch FHD+ in-cell IPS FullView Display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio as there is a display notch. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo topped with Funtouch OS 4.0 and makes use of an octa-core Snapdragon 626 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space, which can be expanded up to 256GB.

The imaging aspects of the Vivo V9 include dual cameras positioned vertically at the top left with 16MP and 5MP sensors. The rear camera makes use of AI techniques to render good quality photos. The selfie camera is a 24MP sensor with a portrait mode, AR stickers and Face Beauty. The Vivo V9 comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG support, and a 3260mAh battery.
