Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India Launch Imminent: Sources Confirm AI Features and Key Specifications
Vivo is expected to drop its flagship foldable smartphone in India this month. We recently received information from very reliable sources that the phone in question will be the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
Moreover, our sources also revealed key insights into Vivo's upcoming foldable smartphone. For one, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will debut as India's first foldable smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Apart from the chip, the source also revealed that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with several AI-enabled features to improve productivity and the overall user experience.
Lastly, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro packs a 5,700 mAh battery, so despite its ultra-slim form factor, the foldable will use a massive battery. To top it off, the X Fold 3 Pro also supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will also feature ZIESS optics as well as ZEISS T* lens coating. Moreover, the phone will also incorporate the power V3 imaging chip, which is used on the Vivo X100 Pro (Review).
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Specifications
Since the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has already been unveiled in China, its specifications are readily available. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC on the X Fold 3 Pro will be accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will run Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 with Vivo's Blue LM AI incorporation. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will pack a 5,700 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

Vivo's upcoming foldable smartphone sports a main 8.03-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. The panel boasts an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and a 4:3.55 aspect ratio. The screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision formats as well as a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
On the outside, there's a 6.53-inch 8T LTPO OLED cover display with a resolution of 2748 x 1172 pixels. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and a 21.1:9 aspect ratio. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support is also present on the cover screen. The foldable will also pack stereo speakers with Wireless Lossless Hi-Fi audio.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Cameras
For optics, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will feature a 50 MP VCS Bionic OmniVision OV50H primary sensor with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS support. Additionally, the main camera is paired with a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 64 MP OV64B telephoto-periscope shooter with an f/2.57 aperture, OIS, and 3x optical zoom.
The cameras on the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro were co-developed with ZEISS. The phone also comes with a custom V3 ISP.
