Vivo X Fold 5 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 50MP Triple Cameras, and 6,000mAh Battery Launched in India
Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X Fold 5 in India, expanding its premium smartphone lineup with a flagship foldable. The device was introduced alongside the Vivo X200 FE on Monday and is now available for pre-order through Flipkart and Vivo’s official website.
The book-style foldable features dual AMOLED displays, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Zeiss-backed cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging support.

Vivo X Fold 5 Price in India and Availability
The Vivo X Fold 5 is priced at Rs. 1,49,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. It is being offered in a Titanium Grey finish. Pre-orders are now open, and sales will begin from July 30 via Flipkart and the Vivo India e-store.
Dual AMOLED Displays With 120Hz Refresh Rate
The foldable phone comes equipped with an 8.03-inch inner AMOLED display offering a 2,480 × 2,200 pixel resolution, and a 6.53-inch outer cover screen with 2,748 × 1,172 pixel resolution.
Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach up to 4,500 nits local peak brightness. Vivo has also integrated TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 and Zeiss Master colour certifications on both displays.
Performance and Software
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15, and is designed to handle multitasking across foldable displays with enhanced software features.
Triple 50MP Zeiss Camera Setup
For imaging, the Vivo X Fold 5 sports a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with f/1.57 aperture and OIS. It also includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, alongside a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor. Both front displays—inner and outer—feature 20MP selfie cameras with f/2.4 aperture.
The camera system also supports AI Image Studio features, aiming to offer enhanced computational photography and video capabilities.
Battery and Charging
The foldable is backed by a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. Vivo claims the phone meets IPX8, IPX9, and IP5X ratings for water and dust resistance, offering improved durability for daily use.
Build and Connectivity
The Vivo X Fold 5 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The device weighs 217g, measures 9.2mm thick when folded, and just 4.3mm when unfolded. Connectivity options include dual nano SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
