Vivo X Fold 5 Official Image Confirms Display Specs and New Physical Button
Vivo is preparing to unveil its latest foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 5, soon in China. While the official launch is awaited, leaks and rumours have provided insights into what to expect. Recently, the Vivo Product Manager shared a close-up image of the internal screen, offering a glimpse into the panel's features.
Vivo X Fold 5 Display Features Confirmed
According to the company executive, the Vivo X Fold 5 will feature LTPO 8T panels on both its inner and outer screens. These panels will deliver an adaptive refresh rate for smooth visuals during activities like scrolling and gaming. The phone will also feature high pixel density and resolution, enhancing display clarity.

A notable improvement in the Vivo X Fold 5 will be its 4,500-nit local peak brightness. Additionally, it will include full-brightness high-frequency PWM dimming paired with TÜV Rheinland's Global Eye Protection 3.0 certification to safeguard eyes during prolonged use.
Both displays will be based on the Zeiss Master Color technology, ensuring accurate and vibrant colour reproduction. The shared image also reveals a subtle design change: a new physical button on the left side of the device.
Vivo X Fold 5: What We Know So Far
The Vivo X Fold 5 will be a design-centric imaging flagship and will bring notable upgrades in performance, battery life, and camera capabilities. It's expected to pack a massive 6,000mAh battery and support wireless charging.
