Vivo X Fold 5, Vivo X200 FE Launch Date in India Leaked: Here’s What to Expect

Rumours from India suggest that the Vivo X200 FE and the X Fold 5 will be unveiled on July 10, 2025. This indicates a joint event for both devices. The X200 FE expected to feature a 6.3-inch flat OLED display "1.5" resolution and a120 Hz refresh rate. It will include an under-display fingerprint sensor and either the Dimensity 9300+ or Dimensity 9400e chipset.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is anticipated to have an 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED screen with "2K+" resolution, also offering a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it will sport a 6.53-inch LTPO OLED cover screen with the same refresh rate. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power this device, accompanied by 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Camera Specifications

The X200 FE's camera setup includes a 50 MP main camera using Sony's IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom featuring Sony's IMX882, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. For selfies, it offers a robust 50 MP front-facing camera. The phone will be available in two configurations: 12/256GB and 16/512GB.

In contrast, the X Fold 5 will have a similar main camera as the X200 FE, using the IMX921 sensor for its primary lens. It will also include a 50 MP ultrawide camera with autofocus and a telephoto lens with identical specifications to the X200 FE's telephoto camera. Selfies can be captured using two separate 32 MP cameras.

Battery and Charging Features

The battery capacity for the Vivo X200 FE is set at 6,500 mAh, supporting fast charging at up to 90W via wired connections. This model is designed to weigh around 200g and boasts IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

The X Fold 5 will house a slightly smaller battery at 6,000 mAh but will support both wired (90W) and wireless (30W) charging options. This device will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with an Alert Slider-like button for additional functionality.

Design and Build

The design of the Vivo X Fold 5 allows it to be just 4.3mm thick when unfolded, expanding to approximately 9.33mm when folded back into its compact form. Both devices are expected to carry an IP rating for durability against environmental factors.
