Vivo X200, X200 Pro India Launch Set for December 12; First Sale, Expected Price, and Specs

Vivo has finally revealed the launch date for the upcoming X200 series smartphones in India. Both the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are confirmed to launch on December 12 in the country.

Following the launch, the smartphones will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, and the brand's official website. Here's everything you should know about the upcoming Vivo phones.

Vivo X200 Series India Launch Date Announced

The Vivo X200 series is confirmed to launch on December 12 at 12 PM IST. While the brand has not revealed anything regarding its sale date, tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the first sale of the Vivo X200 series will take place on December 19.

Vivo X200 Series Expected Price and Features

Vivo is gradually revealing the specfications of the X200 series. Besides, the handsets are already available in both Chinese and global markets, which gives us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming X200 series.

The Vivo X200 Pro is confirmed to feature India's first 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto camera. It will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 SoC and come with V3+ imaging chip. It will come with a 6000mAh semi-solid state battery, Quad Curved display and Funtouch OS 15.

Moreover, the X200 Pro is believed to feature a 50MP main Sony LYT-818 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP periscope lens, while the standard Vivo X200 will likely include a 50MP periscope shooter. Both models will support 4K 120fps video recording and feature a 32MP front camera.

The Vivo X200 Pro will also feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, while the standard variant has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch quad-curved OLED display. The Vivo X200 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The phone will pack a 5,800mAh battery with 90W wired charging, while the Pro model packs a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging support.

As far as the price is concerned, the Vivo X200 price is expected to come under Rs 65,000 in India, while the Pro model might fall between Rs 90,000 to Rs 95,000.
