Vivo X200T Teaser Goes Live on Flipkart; Zeiss Optics and OriginOS Confirmed

Vivo is gearing up to launch the X200T in India soon. A dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming the phone's availability. Additionally, the teaser offers a first look at the camera setup. Let's take a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming Vivo smartphone.

Vivo X200T India Launch Details

While Vivo hasn't confirmed the exact launch date of the X200T yet, reports and leaks suggest that it could arrive between January 26 and January 31. We also expect the brand to officially reveal the launch date soon. Following the launch, the smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart, which is also expected to gradually reveal key specifications ahead of the launch.

Vivo X200T: What to Expect?

The Flipkart microsite reveals that the Vivo X200T will feature a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup and will arrive in a purple colour option. On the software front, it will run on OriginOS.

Rumours also suggest that the Vivo X200T could debut in India as a slightly updated version of the Vivo X200 FE. The phone is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which would be an upgrade over the Dimensity 9300+ used in the Vivo X200 FE.

The Vivo X200T is said to pack either a 6,500mAh or a 6,200mAh battery, with support for 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. It is also expected to include a 4.5K nanofluid vapour chamber.

On the camera front, the phone is rumoured to feature a 50MP LYT-702 primary sensor, a 50MP JN1 periscope lens, and a 50MP LYT-600 ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it could offer a 32MP front camera. Software support will be another highlight, as the Vivo X200T is expected to come with five Android OS updates and seven years of security patches.
