Vivo X300, X300 Pro Launched With Dimensity 9500 SoC, 200MP Periscope Camera, OriginOS 6

Vivo has officially launched its much-anticipated X300 series in China, introducing two new flagship smartphones — the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro.

Both models debut the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, making them the first phones powered by this next-gen processor. The lineup continues Vivo’s focus on premium imaging and design, co-developed with Zeiss optics.

A New Flagship Duo

The X300 series builds on Vivo’s design language but with some refinements. The Vivo X300 sports a 6.31-inch BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses flat LIPO-based display tech to keep bezels slim and uniform across all four sides.

The X300 Pro, on the other hand, gets a 6.78-inch micro-curved display with the same resolution and refresh rate. Both models support HDR and feature impressive brightness levels for better outdoor visibility.

The phones come with the new Dimensity 9500 chip — MediaTek’s most advanced SoC yet — promising flagship-class performance and efficiency rivaling the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Vivo pairs the chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast multitasking and quick app loads.

Zeiss-Tuned Cameras Take Center Stage

Vivo continues its strong partnership with Zeiss for the X300 series, focusing heavily on optics and image processing.

The Vivo X300 features a 200MP Samsung HPB primary sensor, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung JN1 and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto lens.

The Vivo X300 Pro swaps in a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. Both phones offer Zeiss T* lens coating to reduce reflections and maintain color accuracy.

The Pro model also includes Vivo’s V1 and V3+ imaging chips for enhanced computational photography, particularly in portrait and low-light conditions. On the front, both phones house a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view.

Battery, Charging, and Other Features

The Vivo X300 packs a 6,040mAh battery, while the X300 Pro bumps it up slightly to 6,510mAh. Both support 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging.

As expected from Vivo’s flagship series, both devices come with IP68 water and dust resistance, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and the latest OriginOS 6 built on Android 16.
