Camera Features and Specifications

The Vivo X300 Pro boasts a Zeiss-optimised triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with OIS. This system is enhanced by Vivo's V3+ and Vs1 imaging processors for superior photography capabilities.

Meanwhile, the standard Vivo X300 offers a different camera configuration. It features a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-602 periscope camera. Both models include a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Telephoto Extender Kit Support

A new leak suggests that the Indian variants will support the Zeiss Telephoto Extender Kit. According to Smartprix, citing tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), this makes India one of the first global markets to receive this advanced camera accessory. Both smartphones also support Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lenses for extended optical zoom without sacrificing image quality.

The Vivo X300 Pro achieves up to 8.8x optical zoom, while the standard model reaches approximately 7x. The teleconverter extends the focal length to 200mm on the Pro version and 165mm on the regular model. Vivo has incorporated a dedicated Teleconverter Mode within the camera app, featuring NFC support for quick lens recognition and automatic activation.

The Vivo X300 series is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6. The Pro variant comes with a 6,510mAh battery, while the base model has a slightly smaller 6,040mAh battery. Both devices support fast charging options: 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. As anticipation builds for their Indian release, these smartphones promise advanced features that cater to photography enthusiasts and tech-savvy users alike.
