Vivo X300 Spotted on BIS Certification; India Launch Likely Soon

Vivo is set to launch the X300 series in China on October 13, comprising the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Now, the India launch also appears to be on the horizon, as the standard Vivo X300 has been spotted on the BIS certification website. Here's all you need to know about the Vivo X300.

Vivo X300 India Launch Expected Soon

According to tipster Sanju Chudhary, the Vivo X300 has appeared on the BIS certification site with the model number V2515. While the official launch timeline in India hasn't been revealed yet, the X300 series is likely to arrive around November or December, similar to its predecessor, the X200 series. The standard X300 is also expected to come at around Rs 70,000 in the country.

Both the X300 and X300 Pro are believed to launch in the country. However, it's better to take this information with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the more details surrounding the X300 series India launch.

Vivo X300 - What We Know So Far

The Vivo X300 series will be the first smartphones to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. The standard model will also include a proprietary V3+ imaging chip for computational photography tasks.

Upfront, the Vivo X300 is expected to sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For imaging, there will be a triple-camera system including a 200MP HPB main sensor measuring 1/1.4 inches with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope-telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. These cameras will be co-developed with Zeiss and feature Zeiss T* lens coating. For selfies, the device is expected to opt for a 50MP front camera.

Moreover, the device could pack a 6,000 mAh silicon carbon battery supporting 90W wired fast charging along with wireless fast charging capabilities. The phone will also include a USB 3.2 port and an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint reader.
