Vivo X300 Ultra Camera Features Revealed Ahead Of March 30 Launch

Vivo has shared more details about the camera system on its upcoming X300 Ultra, ahead of its launch in China on March 30.

A Multi-Lens Camera Setup

The Vivo X300 Ultra will feature what the company calls a “3+2” Zeiss Master Lens Group. This setup includes a 14mm ultra-wide lens using a Sony LYTIA 818 sensor, a 200MP 35mm main camera, and a 200MP 85mm telephoto lens with gimbal-grade stabilisation.

There are also two teleconverter lenses, offering 200mm and 400mm equivalent focal lengths, extending the phone’s zoom range.

Focus On Video And Creative Control

Vivo is placing a significant emphasis on video performance this year. The X300 Ultra supports 4K recording at 120fps with 10-bit Log, and the hardware is specifically optimized to manage heat during extended filming sessions.

It also brings features like Professional Video Mode Pro, cinematic styles, and multiple film color profiles. Audio recording is handled through a four-microphone array with different presets and adjustable sound effects.

The camera interface is also being updated, with more customization options for users.

Portrait And Night Photography Features

Portrait photography remains a cornerstone of the experience. The device introduces a personalized style matrix, offering artistic presets such as Texture, Black & White, Cold White, and Chasing Light.

There are also updated portrait algorithms, including a dynamic compression system and a textured portrait engine aimed at refining output.

For low-light photography, Vivo is introducing Night Scene Flash Portrait 2.0, which combines zoom flash, upgraded lighting materials, and new processing techniques.

Additional features like backlight portrait optimisation and soft light effects are also part of the camera system.
