Vivo X300 Ultra Launched in India: Dual 200MP Cameras, Zeiss Extenders, and a 6,600mAh Battery

Vivo made it official today. The X300 Ultra is now in India, and it's the first Ultra-branded phone from the company to land here directly.

Previous Ultra models stayed China-exclusive, so this one's been a long time coming. It launched today alongside the X300 FE, which we have covered separately.

Vivo X300 Ultra Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, Features

The Camera System

This is what the X300 Ultra is built around. The main sensor is a 200MP Sony LYT-901 with an f/1.9 aperture, gimbal-style optical stabilisation, and a 1/1.12-inch sensor size. The telephoto is also 200MP, this time on a Samsung HPO periscope chip at an 85mm equivalent with 3.7x optical zoom and macro support. Rounding it out is a 50MP Sony LYT-818 ultrawide and a 50MP front camera.

Then there are the Zeiss Telephoto Extenders. Vivo sells two clip-on lenses separately. The Gen 2 adds a 200mm equivalent reach, and the Gen 2 Ultra pushes that to 400mm.

These aren't digital tricks either. They're actual glass elements that mount over the existing telephoto.

Display and Performance

The X300 Ultra has a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel at 1440 by 3168 resolution with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 1TB. Cooling is handled by a 5,800mm² vapour chamber.

Battery and Software

Battery capacity is 6,600mAh with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and is backed by five years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security patches. It weighs between 232 and 237 grams and measures 8.2mm thick. Colour options for India are Victory Green and Eclipse Black.

Price, Offers, and Availability

The Vivo X300 Ultra comes in a single variant: 16GB/512GB at ₹1,59,999. It's available on 24-month no-cost EMI with zero down payment at ₹6,667 per month.

The Zeiss accessories are sold separately. The Imaging Grip Kit is priced at ₹11,999, and the Teleconverter Gen 2 Ultra (400mm) costs ₹27,999. The combo of phone, 400mm extender, and Imaging Grip together is priced at ₹1,95,997, with EMI going up to ₹8,167 per month. For serious photographers, there's also a Photographer Kit at ₹2,09,999 that bundles the phone with both the 200mm and 400mm Zeiss Telephoto Extenders.

On the offers front, mainline buyers get up to 10% instant cashback across select bank cards, one year of free extended warranty, V-Shield screen damage protection with a 60% discount starting at ₹2,499, a 60% assured buyback plan at ₹1,599, and Jio's 5,000GB cloud storage for 18 months with free Pro Google Gemini.
