Vivo X5 Pro Launched in India at Rs 27,980: All That You Need to Know
It seems our exclusive turned out to be right. As we reported yesterday, the Chinese handset maker Vivo launched its high-end smartphone dubbed as X5 Pro.
In order to strengthen its market, the company has launched another smartphone under the X line-up in India. Dubbed as Vivo X5 Pro, this mobile was initially launched in China couple of month ago with eye recognition technology. Anyhow, the Indian variant doesn't support any such technologies.
The Vivo X5 Pro comes with Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus and facial recognition technology for smart beauty mode. Additionally, it employs Hi-Fi audio experience with custom Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip.
Vivo X5 Pro - Key Specifications
Vivo X5 Pro comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED 2.5D glass that has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The X5 Pro is powered by a 1.5Ghz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 SoC is under the hood, along with 2GB RAM on board.
Talking about the storage capacity, the X5 Pro houses 16GB native storage, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot. And Android 5.0 is pre-installed with Funtouch OS 3.0 running on top.

Moving to the imaging factor, the X5 Pro features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front camera for selfies. The handset has an aluminum build and supports dual SIM cards and 4G LTE connectivity.
Moreover, this device comes with the metal frame around the body where the buttons and the SIM card slots are located. Instead of the dual tone color design used in previous iterations of flagships, Vivo has gone with a single tone white. The Vivo X5 Pro will be available for sales starting from August and comes at a price of Rs. 27,980.
