Vivo Y100 5G Launched with 120Hz AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 44W Charging

Vivo recently dropped a new budget smartphone in China. The Vivo Y100 5G was unveiled in India earlier this year, although the Chinese variant arrives with a few key differences.

The Vivo Y100 5G debuts in China as an affordable smartphone with a Snapdragon chip, 120Hz display, a large battery with fast charging support, and a dual-camera setup with OIS.

The Vivo Y100 5G price is set at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 16,100) for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the Vivo Y100 also comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB variants that will set you back CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 18,400), CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,700), and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,000), respectively.

The Chinese version of the Vivo Y100 5G comes in Liu Yunqing (light green), Glass Blue, and Starry Night Black color options. To recall, the Vivo Y100 5G price in India is set at Rs 21,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant.

Vivo Y100 5G Specifications

The Vivo Y100 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with the Adreno 619 GPU. The device arrives with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The handset runs Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. The Vivo Y100 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

For optics, the Vivo Y100 5G boasts a dual-camera setup with a 64 MP primary sensor that supports OIS and an f/1.79 aperture and a 2 MP secondary lens. The phone also boasts an 8 MP camera sensor up front. The Vivo Y100 5G sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
