Vivo Y19 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage Variant To Cost Below Rs. 15,000: Report

Vivo recently launched a new smartphone in its 'Y' series dubbed Y19 in Thailand. The device comes with a triple-lens rear camera module and is expected to be launched in India sometime soon. While Vivo has not revealed its official launch date in the country, its pricing has been tipped online. Following are the details:

Vivo Y19 India Price Details

A report from the 91Mobiles suggests a price tag of Rs. 13,990. The publication got this information from some retail sources. The pricing is said to be of the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. It is worth noting that Vivo Y19 comes as a successor to the Vivo Y17 which the company is expected to take off the shelves soon.

Vivo Y19 Highlight Features

The Vivo Y19 is equipped with three cameras at the rear which comprises of a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. It flaunts a 6.53-inch FHD+ display panel with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.

It offers 90.3 screen-to-body-ratio, 19:5:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch that accommodates a 16MP camera for selfies. Under the hood, the Vivo Y19 packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 chipset accompanied by up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

It supports up to 256GB external microSD card. The device boots on the Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 2.0 user interface and supports Game Space and Muti-Turbo modes for enhanced gaming.

Security options include a fingerprint scanner mounted at the rear along with the Face Unlock feature. In terms of connectivity, it offers a microUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Rounding off the specification sheet is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. We are waiting for Vivo to reveal the launch date of the Y19 in India. And if this report is to believed then the device will be competing against the likes of recently launched Moto G8 Plus and Redmi Note 8.
