Vivo Y200e Launch in India Confirmed for February 22: What to Expect!

Vivo has officially teased the launch of a new smartphone in India. And it is not the Vivo V30 series, at least, not yet. The company recently dropped a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) confirming that the Vivo Y200e 5G would be arriving next month.

The post on X showcases the design of the Vivo Y200e 5G. To recall, the Vivo Y200 was unveiled in India last year, back in October 2023. The post also reveals the Vivo Y200 in orange and blue color options.

The Vivo Y200e launch in India is taking place on February 22, 2024. The phone is expected to go on sale through Flipkart after its launch in the country. The post also showcases the design of the Vivo Y200e 5G. The Vivo Y200e orange variant appears to have a vegan leather back panel.

We believe the Vivo Y200e price in India to start from under Rs 20,000 in India. Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently shared a post on X revealing the full Vivo Y200e specifications ahead of its launch.

According to the tipster, the Vivo Y200e will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The Vivo Y200e is also expected to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will also come with a dual-stereo speaker system.

For optics, the Vivo Y200e is expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary shooter. Up front, the Vivo Y200e could opt for a 16 MP selfie camera. The tipster also claims that the Vivo Y200e will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

Vivo's upcoming affordable smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint reader. The black variant of the Vivo Y200e is expected to weigh 185.5 grams and measure 7.79mm thick. On the other hand, the saffron (orange) variant weighs 191 grams and measures 7.99mm thick.
