Vivo Y22T Geekbench Listing Reveals Android 13 Smartphone With SD680 SoC, 6GB RAM, And More
Vivo could be launching an older Android smartphone from last year's Vivo Y22 series in India. The Vivo Y22T has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing its rather dated hardware but updated software.
The Vivo Y22 series includes the entry-level Vivo Y22, and the middle-level Vivo Y22s. The hardware details laid bare in the Geekbench listing suggests Vivo could be trying to rebrand an older device, presumably attempting to sell it at an attractive price.

The Vivo Y series comprises affordable and budget-friendly Android smartphones for the masses. The Vivo Y22 series too follows this design strategy and packs appropriate hardware.
It appears Vivo is trying to sprinkle some life into the series because several brands, including Xiaomi, Infinix, TECNO, and others, are aggressively introducing feature-packed Android smartphones at attractive prices.
The Vivo Y22T, spotted on Geekbench, is codenamed "Vivo V2313". The device was recently spotted on Thailand's NBTC certification with the same model number. This strongly suggests Vivo could launch the Vivo Y22T soon.

The Geekbench listing of the Vivo Y22T reveals that it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chip with four Performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and the remaining four Efficiency cores clocked at 1.90GHz.
The motherboard of the Vivo smartphone that has just surfaced on Geekbench is codenamed "Bengal". These details indicated the Vivo smartphone is packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, which is an older chipset that is limited to 4G networks.
The Vivo smartphone managed to score 377 points in single-core tests and scored 1501 points in multi-core tests. These numbers aren't impressive and are suited for a budget-friendly smartphone.
Despite the humble processing power, the Vivo Y22T is packing 5.52GB or 6GB of RAM. It is possible that Vivo would offer the Vivo Y22T with more or even less RAM.
Vivo Y22T Expected Specifications, Features
With such humble internals, it would be safe to assume that Vivo would opt for an LCD display. However, the brand may embed a screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate in the Vivo Y22T.
The Vivo Y22 series launched last year. The Vivo Y22s packed MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, while the Y22s was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. Both packed 5000mAh battery packs, which supported 18W wired fast charging.
The Vivo Y22 series smartphones were powered by Android 11-based FunTouchOS 12. The Vivo Y22T appears to be running Android 13, which means Vivo would slap FunTouchOS 13 custom layer on top.
Based on the other Vivo Y22 series smartphones, it is possible Vivo would repeat the imaging hardware. If true, the Vivo Y22T would feature a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP sensor. There could be an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
Vivo hasn't officially acknowledged the existence of the Vivo Y22T smartphone. However, its presence on certification websites and Geekbench strongly suggest Vivo could quietly introduce the smartphone in multiple markets in the next few months.
