Vivo Y27L Smartphone With SD410 CPU, 4G Support Launched at Rs 12,900
Vivo Mobiles today added a new addition to its smartphone portfolio in India. After introducing the Vivo X5 Pro and X5 Max in India, Vivo seem to have shifted their attention to the mid-range segment by launching their Y27L model in India.
Priced at an Rs 12,990 the Vivo Y27L carries the legacy associated with a Vivo device - looks first and specs come later. According to a report by Mahesh Telecom the device is now available for sale in offline retail stores.

Boasting of a slim profile of 6.99mm, the Vivo Y27L comes with a Snapdragon 410 quad core SoC under the hood with cores clocked at 1.2GHz each and an Adreno 306 GPU. The device comes with a magnesium alloy chassis and a 8MP AF camera which sits flush at the back. The front boasts of a 4.7 inch HD (1280x720) display along with a 5MP FF camera.
There's a standard 1GB of RAM for multitasking performance and a 16GB of internal storage. Memory can be further expanded to 128GB via microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity the Vivo Y27L comes with a standard set of Bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n, A-GPS and 4G LTE. The Vivo Y27L runs on Android KitKat 4.4 with the company's own FunTouch OS 2.0 running on top.
Further the devices come with a Smart Gesture feature via which one can open numerous apps by drawing the first alphabet on the screen. The device also come with Hi-Fi audio for enhanced music experience.

At a price point of Rs 12,990 Vivo will face tough times getting this device popular. With the launch of Android Marshmallow round the corner, KitKat sounds to old school.
