Vivo Y27s Launched with Snapdragon 680 SoC, 90Hz Display, 5,000 mAh Battery

Vivo recently unveiled a new affordable smartphone in its Y series. The Vivo Y27s has officially been unveiled in Indonesia's budget smartphone segment.

The Vivo Y27s features a Snapdragon 680 SoC, a 90Hz display, a large battery, fast charging support, and a dual-camera setup. It's worth noting that Vivo also recently unveiled two flagship smartphones under its iQOO brand in China.

Vivo V27s Pricing

The Vivo Y27s price in Indonesia is set at IDR 2,399,000 (roughly Rs 12,800) for the base 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the device also comes in a 12GB/256GB variant that costs IDR 2,799,00.

The handset can be purchased from Vivo's official Indonesian website. The Vivo Y27s is offered in Burgundy Black and Garden Green color options.

The Vivo Y27s is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card. Additionally, up to 8GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM. The handset runs on Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 on top.

The Vivo V27s also sports a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 650 nits. For optics, the handset boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. Up front, the phone opts for an 8 MP camera for selfies.

Vivo's budget smartphone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. The Vivo Y27s weighs 192 grams and measures 8.17mm thick.

The Vivo Y27s has also been confirmed to feature an IP5X rating for dust resistance and an IP4X rating for resistance to splashes of water. The company is yet to announce the Vivo Y27s in India as only the Y27 is available in the country.
