Vivo has launched the Y29 5G in India, an upgrade to its predecessor, the Y28. With prices starting at ₹13,999, the Y29 brings practical features like a durable design, a large battery, and an improved camera setup, making it a solid contender in the sub-₹20,000 segment.

Build and Design

The Vivo Y29 5G features a slim profile at 8.1mm thick and weighs 198 grams. The phone is available in three colors: Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black, all of which have a clean, minimalist look.

Built to last, the Y29 is the first Vivo smartphone in this price range to achieve Military Grade durability certification and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It also includes a cushioning structure designed to withstand accidental drops, adding to its practical appeal.
