Vivo Y32 5G Price and availability

According to a 91Mobiles report, the Vivo Y32 5G is available in Nepal in three configurations. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at NPR 39,999, which is approximately Rs 25,000 in India. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs NPR 45,999, while the top-end model with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at NPR 52,999.

Vivo has not announced an India launch date or local pricing yet. At its converted starting price, the Y32 5G would fall into a competitive segment in India, although the final price could be different if the company decides to launch it here.

Vivo Y32 5G Specifications and features

The Vivo Y32 5G features a 6.87-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1592 x 720 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission, which is intended to help reduce eye strain during extended use.

Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand the storage by up to 2TB through a microSD card. The phone is also reported to support up to 6GB of virtual RAM.

The hardware is aimed at everyday use rather than demanding workloads. The phone should be suitable for messaging, browsing, social media, video streaming and less-intensive games.

The Vivo Y32 5G's biggest feature, perhaps, is its 8,000mAh battery. The phone supports 44W wired fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging, allowing it to charge other compatible devices as well.

Vivo claims that the battery can retain more than 80 per cent of its capacity after 1,500 charge cycles. While real-world battery life will depend on how the phone is used, the large battery could make it a suitable option for people who spend long hours away from a charger.

The battery does add to the phone's weight, though. The Vivo Y32 5G weighs 230 grams, which may feel heavy for users who prefer compact and lightweight smartphones.

For photography, the Vivo Y32 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. An 8MP camera on the front handles selfies and video calls.

Durability is another major part of the phone's appeal. The device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It also carries MIL-STD-810H certification and an SGS five-star drop-resistance rating.

These certifications suggest that the phone is designed to withstand more demanding conditions than a typical smartphone. However, they do not make it completely damage-proof, and users should still take care to avoid drops and water exposure.
