Vivo Y39 5G Launched in India With 6500mAh Battery, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Processor, and Sony 50MP AI camera

Vivo has added a new addition to its Y-series in India named Vivo Y39 5G. The smartphone comes with the segment's biggest 6500mAh battery, Sony 50MP AI camera, and much more. Here's everything you should know about Vivo's latest offering.

Vivo Y39 5G Design and Features

The Vivo Y39 5G features a slim and lightweight design with a high-gloss metallic frame and a circular camera design. The device sports a 6.68-inch display with 1000 nits high brightness mode, a 120Hz refresh rate, and TÜV Rheinland Eye Protection. It also includes the ultra-large cooling area and dual stereo speakers.

The Vivo Y39 5G comes with Military Grade Resistance, an SGS certification, and has passed five rigorous environmental tests. Moreover, the phone has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor coupled with 8GB RAM (8GB of additional RAM) and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset packs a 6,500mAh battery with 44W charging.

For imaging, there is a 50MP Sony HD rear camera, a 2MP bokeh camera, and an 8MP front camera. Additionally, the Vivo Y39 is also equipped with advanced features like AI Photo Enhance and AI Eraser. On the software front, it runs on Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15. Even the Vivo Y39 is the first-ever Y series smartphone to integrate smart AI features, which include AI Screen Translation, AI SuperLink, Circle to Search, and Gemini Assistant. It is also eligible for two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.

Vivo Y39 5G Price and Availability

The Vivo Y39 5G is priced at INR 16,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and INR 18,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. It comes in Lotus Purple and Ocean Blue colour variants and will be available for purchase starting today across Amazon, Flipkart, vivo India e-Store, and all partner retail stores. Buyers can also avail of a flat INR 1,500 cashback, which is valid until April 6, 2025.
