Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo Y400 5G in India, which will join the newly launched Y400 Pro. The brand has now confirmed the launch date, colour options, and design of the upcoming phone. Let's dive into the details.
Vivo Y400 5G India Launch Date Announced
The Vivo Y400 5G is confirmed to launch in India on August 4. Following the launch, the handset is expected to go on sale via both offline and online channels. As far as the price is concerned, the standard model will be a budget-friendly option compared to the Y400 Pro, which was launched starting at Rs 24,999.

The upcoming Y400 5G is expected to be priced below Rs 20,000. The brand also confirms the phone will come in two colour options: Olive Green and Glam White.
Vivo Y400 5G - What to Expect?
The official teaser only confirms that the Vivo Y400 5G will feature dual rear cameras in India. However, the device was recently spotted on Vivo Indonesia's website, revealing key specifications.
Some reports suggest that the global variant could be a 4G model; however, the Indian market will receive a 5G version. Even the global variant is confirmed to come in Purple Twilight and Tropical Green colours.
Moreover, Vivo's official listing in Indonesia reveals the Vivo Y400 will have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 Color Saturation, and 1,800 nits peak brightness.
For imaging, the Vivo Y400 will have a dual rear camera system including a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and a 2MP bokeh camera. It will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to last up to two days on a single charge. The battery is advertised to come with 4-Year Battery Life technology.
The Vivo Y400 will include several AI-driven features like AI Transcript Assist, AI Notes Summary, AI Captions, AI Documents, Circle to Search, and more. The handset will measure 7.90mm in thickness and weigh 196 grams. It will come with double IP68+IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
