Vivo Y400 Pro Launch in India Leaked: Design, Key Specifications, and Price Range Tipped

Vivo might soon add a new device to its mid-range lineup in India. According to leaked promotional materials shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore in collaboration with XpertPick, the Vivo Y400 Pro is gearing up for launch.

Vivo Y400 Pro Launch in India Leaked: Design and Key Specs Tipped

A Familiar Design with Some Flair

The Y400 Pro seems to follow Vivo’s recent design language. The leaked images show a dual-camera setup arranged vertically within a pill-shaped module, accompanied by a ring light—likely aimed at helping with portrait photography in low light. There’s also a punch-hole cutout up front, housing the selfie camera. The phone will reportedly come in three color variants: gold, white, and nebula purple.

With a thickness of just 7.4mm, it’s expected to be one of the slimmer phones in its segment, balancing aesthetics with usability.

Display and Core Hardware

The Y400 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Leaks suggest that it might offer a high peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which—if true—would make it one of the brightest panels in its class.

Under the hood, the phone could run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset. While not flagship-grade, the chip should offer solid day-to-day performance for multitasking, gaming, and light productivity.

Battery and Charging Capabilities

One of the standout features could be its 5,500mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging support. That combination might appeal to users who don’t want to wait around for their phone to juice up. For context, charging speeds around 90W are generally reserved for more premium devices, so seeing it here might be noteworthy for the price point.

Cameras and AI Features

Camera-wise, the Y400 Pro is rumored to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor and a 2MP auxiliary shooter. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is expected. Vivo is also reportedly integrating several AI-driven tools: AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, AI Superlink, AI Screen Translation, and Circle to Search with Google.

Software and Configurations

The phone is expected to ship with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Storage variants may include 8GB RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Additional touches like an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and possibly an IR blaster round out the package.

Expected Price and Launch Window

The Vivo Y400 Pro is expected to be priced under ₹25,000 in India. Although there’s no confirmed launch date yet, the presence of promotional material suggests an announcement could be around the corner.
