Vivo has unveiled two new Y‑series smartphones in China-the Vivo Y50 5G and the Y50m 5G. Both handsets share nearly identical specs, including a 90Hz display and a 6,000 mAh battery. Let's dive into their detailed features and pricing.

Vivo Y50 5G Features

The Vivo Y50 5G comes with a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display (1600 x 720 pixels), offering a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It sports a waterdrop notch and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB internal storage.

On the software front, the Vivo Y50 5G runs on OriginOS 5 and packs a massive 6000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging along with reverse charging. For imaging, there is a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include dual-SIM 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, an IR blaster, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features an IP64-rated body measuring 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19mm and weighing 204g.

It also runs Android with OriginOS and includes the same set of connectivity options. The only notable difference lies in the memory configuration-while the Y50 starts with 4GB RAM, the Y50m begins at 6GB RAM.

The Vivo Y50 5G is available in four configurations:
