Vivo Y51 Pro 5G Launched in India with 7200mAh Battery, 120Hz Display, MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo SoC

Vivo has launched the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G in India as the latest addition to its Y Series. The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G features a MediaTek chip, a massive silicon carbon battery, a super-smooth display, and fast charging support.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G price in India starts from Rs 24,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model, while the 8GB/256GB configuration will set you back Rs 27,999. The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is available in Festive Red and Noble Gold colour options.

The Vivo Y51 Pro is available for purchase in India through Flipkart, Vivo's online store, and partner retail stores. Additionally, Vivo is offering a Rs 2,500 cashback on the purchase of the Y51 Pro 5G before March 16.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset built on a 4nm process. It features an octa-core CPU and an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 920,000. The phone comes with 8GB RAM, with support for up to 8GB of extended RAM, and offers 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G packs a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge. It also supports bypass charging and reverse charging. According to the company, the battery system includes battery health algorithms and battery life extender technology designed to maintain battery performance over time.

For photography, the smartphone features a 50-megapixel wide-angle rear camera that supports 4K video recording at 30fps. Camera features include Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), dual-view video, live photo capture, and multiple scene modes such as portrait, night, and professional modes.

The device runs OriginOS 6 out of the box. It includes several AI-based features such as AI Creation, AI Notes, AI Transcript Assist, AI Captions, and Circle to Search. Other features include Vivo Docs for document management, Private Space for secure file storage, and Free Transfer for moving files to a PC. The phone also supports Google Gemini integration.

The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits. The panel is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified and includes an eye protection mode. The smartphone has dual stereo speakers with a claimed 400 percent volume boost. Connectivity features include AI SuperLink for improved signal stability and Game Voice Changer for voice effects during gaming.

In terms of durability, the device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and supports underwater photography for up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. It also carries SGS 5-Star Premium Performance Mark certification for drop resistance and has undergone multi-angle drop testing up to 1.7 metres.
