Vivo Y600 Launched in China: Price, Specifications And All Details

Vivo has just expanded its Y-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the Vivo Y600 in China. The new smartphone packs a 10,000mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. It also supports 44W wired fast charging and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Read on to know all about it.

Vivo Y600 Price And Availability

The Vivo Y600 is the fourth model in the series, joining the Vivo Y600 Pro, Vivo Y600i and Vivo Y600 Turbo. It is available in four RAM and storage configurations, with sales set to begin in China on October 30. As far as the availability is concerned, Vivo has so far announced the phone for China, with no confirmed launch date for other markets.

Coming to the price, the Vivo Y600 price starts from CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 29,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Here is the price of other variants:

8GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs 30,000)

6GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs 31,000)

8GB RAM + 256GB storage: CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 36,000)

The smartphone is available for pre-order through Vivo's online store in China and will go on sale on October 30. It comes in three colour options: Diamond Gold, Obsidian Black and Sapphire Blue.

Vivo has not announced pricing or availability for India.

Vivo Y600: Specifications And Features

The Vivo Y600 is a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 16-based OriginOS 6. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen supports HDR, 1.07 billion colours and the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. Vivo claims a screen-to-body ratio of 94.47%.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor includes four performance cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and four efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. It is paired with an ARM Mali-G610 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For photography, the Vivo Y600 has a single 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. It supports up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.05 aperture for selfies and video calls. Both cameras support video recording at up to 1080p.

One of the phone's biggest highlights is its 10,000mAh battery, which supports 44W wired fast charging. The large battery capacity could appeal to users who spend long hours watching videos, gaming or using their phones throughout the day.

The Vivo Y600 also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS and Galileo. Other features include a USB Type-C port and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
