The Vivo Y600 Pro has officially been unveiled in China. The Vivo Y600 Pro succeeds last year's Y500 Pro, although the only major difference comes in the form of a massive battery upgrade, but downgrades in the main camera and chipset departments.

The Vivo Y600 Pro features a MediaTek chipset, a massive silicon carbon battery with fast charging support, an AMOLED display, and a dual-rear camera setup. Here's everything you need to know about its pricing and specifications.

Vivo Y600 Pro Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y600 Pro price in China starts from CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the Vivo Y600 Pro also comes in four more configurations:

• 8GB/256GB: CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 31,750)
• 8GB/512GB: CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 35,900)
• 12GB/256GB: CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 35,900)
• 12GB/512GB: CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs. 40,000)

The new handset will go on sale in China starting May 5 through the official Vivo online store. The Vivo Y600 Pro is available in Bright Moon Black, Floating Gold, Star Violet, and Vast Blue colour options. We expect the Vivo Y600 Pro to be unveiled in India in the coming months.

Vivo Y600 Pro Specifications

The key feature is the 10,200mAh Si-C battery, which Vivo says fits into the phone with only a small size trade-off. Compared with earlier models, capacity grows by 45%, but thickness rises by just 0.4mm, which equals around a 5% increase in the overall profile. Charging speeds stay at 90W, matching the earlier Y400 Pro, which helps refill the large battery at a reasonable pace.

The front houses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. A 32MP selfie camera sits on the front, while an optical fingerprint sensor is built into the screen for biometric security, keeping the back panel free from extra hardware.

Inside, the Vivo Y600 Pro debuts MediaTek's Dimensity 7300e chipset, which is very close to the Dimensity 7300 and 7300X versions but uses an Arm Mali-G610 MC2 GPU with slightly lower graphics capability. MediaTek tunes this variant for improved power efficiency and Vivo ships the phone with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

The rear setup centres on a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation for steadier photos and videos. A second rear opening does not house another camera but instead contains an IR blaster, letting the handset double as a remote control for compatible televisions and other home devices.
