Vivo Y77T 5G Launched With Dimensity 7020 SoC, 12GB RAM: Check Specs, Features, Price, And Availability

Vivo has launched its latest budget Android smartphone. The Vivo Y77T packs some decent specifications, is feature-packed, and yet, is priced aggressively.

The Vivo Y77T is a 5G Android smartphone with a Full HD+ 120Hz display. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 and packs up to 12GB RAM. Let's look at the latest Vivo smartphone which attempts to offer a midrange smartphone experience at an attractive price.

Vivo has embedded the 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC inside the Vivo Y77T 5G, which is paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. Buyers can get either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and choose between 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The Vivo Y77T 5G features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and LED flash. There's an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Vivo has embedded a 5000mAh battery inside the Vivo Y77T 5G, which supports 44w wired fast charging. The Vivo smartphone runs Android 13 with a custom layer of OriginOS 3.0.

Along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, there's a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. Vivo quietly introduced the Vivo Y77T 5G without any event. The smartphone is clearly aimed at markets where 5G networks are being deployed.

The Vivo Y77T 5G is available in Black, Blue, and Golden colors. The base variant of the Y77T 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage has been priced at Yaun 1499 (approx. US$ 205 / ₹17,000).

The top-end variant of the Vivo smartphone with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs Yuan 1699 (approx.US$ 233 / ₹19,400). There's an introductory launch offer, which knocks off Yuan 100 (approx. ₹1,140) from the retail price of the Vivo Y77T 5G.

Vivo hasn't yet confirmed if the Vivo Y77T 5G will launch outside China. However, the brand has silently introduced similar smartphones into the Indian offline markets in the past.
