Vivo Y78+ (T1) launched with 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 44W Charging

Vivo recently unveiled a new mid-tier 5G smartphone in China. The Vivo Y78+ (T1) that replaces the original Vivo Y78+ that was unveiled in China back in April. The new T1 edition retains most of the same specifications with a few differences.

The Vivo 78+ (T1) also boasts the same design as the original Y78+, with the former arriving with an OLED display, Snapdragon chipset, dual-rear cameras, a large battery, and fast charging support.

Vivo Y78+ (T1) Pricing

The Vivo 78+ (T1) price is set at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 18,200) for the base 8GB/128GB model. Additionally, the device is also offered in an 8GB/256GB configuration that costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs 20,500).

The Vivo 78+ (T1) arrives in Warm Sun Gold, Sky Blue and Moon Shadow Black colour options. According to Vivo, the phone adopts "porcelain texture technology" on the back. As of now, there is no information about availability of the Vivo Y78+ (T1) outside China.

Vivo Y78+ (T1) Specifications

The Vivo Y78+ (T1) is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The handset packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Vivo Y78+ (T1) runs Android 13-based Origin OS 3.0 out of the box.

The Vivo Y78+ (T1) sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ OLED display with 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and 105 percent NTSC colour gamut coverage. The panel also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Vivo Y78+ (T1) gets a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2 MP portrait lens. Up front, the handset gets an 8 MP selfie camera. Connectivity options on the Vivo Y78+ (T1) includes 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, GPS, and more.
