Vivo Y78t with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, 120Hz Display Launched alongside Vivo Y33t

Vivo recently unveiled new smartphones in its Y-series in China. The Vivo Y78t and Vivo Y33t are the latest entrants to Vivo's budget smartphone portfolio.

The Vivo Y78t and Vivo Y33t use Full HD+ IPS displays, dual-rear cameras, large batteries, and side-mounted fingerprint readers. Now, let's look at Vivo's latest Y series smartphones.

Vivo Y78t, Vivo Y33t Pricing

The Vivo Y78t price is set at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs 13,650) for the base 8GB/128GB model, while doubling the storage will cost CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 14,800). Lastly, the top-end variant comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 17,050).

The Vivo Y33t price is set at CNY 749 (roughly Rs 8,550) for the sole 6GB/128GB variant. The Vivo Y78t arrives in Moon Shadow Black, Snowy White, and Distant Mountain Green shades. The Vivo Y33t is offered in Wild Green and Crystal Purple color options.

The Vivo Y33t and Vivo Y78t will go on sale in China this week through JD.com and other online and offline retail outlets. However, there is no word on international availability of the two new Vivo Y series smartphones.

The Vivo Y78t is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device also packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Vivo Y78t sports a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

For optics, the Vivo Y78t features a dual-rear camera setup on the back with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. Up front, there's an 8 MP selfie camera. The Vivo Y33t is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device also packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The Vivo Y33t sports a 6.64-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Vivo Y33t features a dual-rear camera setup on the back with a 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary lens. Up front, there's an 8 MP selfie camera.
