Vivo has launched its latest mid-range smartphone - the Vivo Y9s in China and expands its Y series. The smartphone was recently spotted on TENAA listing revealing most of the specifications. The highlights of the phone are Super AMOLED display, 32MP selfie shooter, quad rear camera, and a lot more. Here are the details:

Vivo Y9s Specifications

The Vivo Y9s flaunts a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The screen carries a waterdrop notch along with 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is juiced powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with Adreno 610 GPU.

The smartphone will be backed by an 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is fueled by a 4,500 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support. As far as software's are concerned, the smartphone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9.

On the optical front, the Vivo Y9s offers a quad rear camera in a diamond shape with an alignment of 48MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture + 8MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture + 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront, the smartphone offers a 32MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the connectivity part, the Vivo Y9s includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio port. Security-wise the smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

 

The company launched the Vivo Y9s in blue, black, and pink color options. It comes in only one variant priced at Yuan 1,998 (approx $289 or Rs, 20,340). The smartphone is already going on sale in China.

Meanwhile, do note that the smartphone is launched in Russia last week rebranded as Vivo V17. It was designed as the local model of Vivo S1 Pro which was launched in the Philippines in November.
